Rounding out our series of playoff predictions, we’ve got the main event. Who will be YOUR 2026 Super Bowl champion?

The field is set! New England versus Seattle. A rematch of the infamous goal-line interception that robbed a star-studded Seahawks roster of a ring. Although this time around, no Tom Brady, no Bill Belichick, and a lot more questions. Who comes out on top when it’s all said and done?
Seahawks over Patriots
The Seahawks have proven the entire postseason that this was their Lombardi to hoist. After skating past the dynamic offense and recently well-performing secondary of the Los Angeles Rams, Sam Darnold and the Seahawks are pitted against the Patriots team that has made a living on wearing teams down.
The Pats’ secondary is even more lethal than the aforementioned Rams. Christian Gonzalez and Co. have been near impenetrable against opposing QBs, leaving offense coordinators throwing clipboards and shaking their heads. Had you thought this might negate the Seahawks’ passing game, right? Well, it certainly could, but recent trends project otherwise. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been THE weapon of the season, and his presence alone is enough to draw away attention from other players. To coincide, quarterback Sam Darnold has really found his groove over the last few games, and the air is no longer a no-go for the Seattle offense.
Not only do the birds have a passing game now, but their backfield has been ELITE. Kenneth Walker II is doing things nobody could have ever dreamed of him before this postseason run in Seattle, and if he keeps it up, he might run all the way to a Lombardi.
The Patriots quarterback, Drake Maye, isn’t to be scoffed at either, but the question remains whether the young stud can control the football. Maye has scuffled at times when it comes to maintaining possession, and against a Seahawks defense that has next to no holes, you cannot afford to give away the ball.
This game should be a very fun watch. Two lockdown defenses, up-and-coming quarterbacks, and the matchup of Christian Gonzalez and JSN. So many storylines, so much at stake, this game is gearing up to be the best Super Bowl we’ve witnessed in the last five years. According to this article, expect the Seahawks to emerge victorious.
